A new way to get help from your GP Practice

From 14/9/23 you will be able to get help from your GP with our new online service, easier and quicker than calling the surgery. You can submit any medical query, including a request for an appointment.

The aim is to provide the right care to the right patient at the right time.

You can see how the new system works: Patient Video V1 HS 18.11.21 (vimeo.com)

This will replace Patient Access for appointment booking.

What will happen once you submit a request:

  1. The the request will go to the either the GP or Administrative team, depending on who is best placed to respond to it. All requests for appointments will be seen by a GP.
  2. These requests will be assessed within 2 working days.
  3. The request will be dealt with according to the best way to help you, the patient.
  4. You will be contacted by text message or, if urgent, via telephone, to explain the next steps which may include an appointment with a member of the team or signposting to other services better placed to help.
  5. If you still feel you require medical help you can submit a further form, or call 111. Call 999 or attend A&E if it is an emergency.
