I have gained experience in a number of specialities including General Acute Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and HIV Medicine.\u00a0\u00a0My early years of training focused on surgery which led me to become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons before working as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. I have since trained in different specialties in Birmingham, such as Endocrinology, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, and Intensive Care Medicine. I am currently a GP registrar at Grove Medical Centre, where I am completing my specialty training. I am also on the committee for the Greenwich Vocational Training Scheme for GPs, representing my fellow registrars. Half of my week is spent on public health projects in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where I address issues such as health screenings, substance abuse cessation, reproductive sexual health, teenage pregnancy, and infections. I also volunteer at the local food bank and tutor medical students at UCL.
