If your GP is concerned that you have a symptom that could be caused by cancer, you will be referred to a suspected cancer clinic, where you will be seen within 2 weeks. We understand this can be a concerning time. The vast majority of patients referred to these clinics will turn out to have another cause apart from cancer for their symptoms.
