If you need medication on a regular basis your doctor may have allowed you to request these in the future as repeat prescriptions without necessarily attending for a consultation.
If you require a change to your medication then you should arrange a routine appointment with your doctor to discuss this. The receptionist staff are not medically trained and are therefore not allowed to prescribe medication or alter prescriptions- please do not ask them.
